Internet connection bandwidth (2M/2M SDSL)

This is measured with 'iperf -t 10' every 5 minutes. It only shows what was available at the time for this particular test connection, so it needs to be viewed in light of the ex0 interface statistics (assuming the other end has at least 2Mbps of capacity to offer). In practise, this seems to reflect quite well the effective uplink capacity of the ISP (Saunalahti) regardless of the destination address.

Once the problems regarding the uplink capacity have been solved, the downstream measurements will be added to these graphs. So far, in sample tests, they have shown very consistently 1.5Mbps to 2Mbps capacity, which is exactly what one can expect. The maximum real life transfer speeds that have been sustained in the past are ~280 kBps in either direction, which is very close to the expected maximum.

NOTE: The actual maximum speed of the line is 2.3Mbps even though it is referred to as 2M/2M.
